Showtyme and Hoop Dreams unbeaten run in the Ibadan City Basketball League ends

Showtyme Hoopers’ hope of finishing the regular season of the Ibadan City Basketball League (ICBL) unbeaten has been dashed.

It was dashed on the final day of the regular season in the Olubadan group of the League by Trust Hoopers 35-33 points. Despite the defeat, Showtyme Hoopers still made it to the final four Play-Off.

Another team that crumbled on last match of the regular season is Hoop Dreams in the GSM group of the League. Dreams’ hope of going through the regular season without dropping a game was aborted by Unibadan Warriors 49-32 points.

Adamasingba Spartans’ poor run in the Ibadan City Basketball League (ICBL) continued unabated as they were spanked by The Polytechnic 59-35 points.

Loyola Warriors failed again to show up for their game against Liberty Spears. Loyola Warriors are the whipping boys in the Olubadan group of the ICBL without a win.

At the end of the regular season of the maiden edition of Ibadan City Basketball League (ICBL), Hoop Dreams and Unibadan Warriors are through to the Play-Off from the GSM group while Showtyme Hoopers and Trust Hoopers are the teams that reached the Play-Off from the Olubadan group.
