CAF Champions League: Al Merreikh’s terrific Terry fires three past Enyimba

Saif Terry, this is the man that dealt Enyimba a terrible blow in Ombudsman this afternoon as the People’s Elephant lost away by 3-0.

Saif Terry scored all the goals in the 6th, 44th and 90th minute.

The game was one in which Enyimba did not do too badly but conceded avoidable goals, no thanks to lousy mistakes at the rear.

With the result, Enyimba would have to be at their best to progress to the group stage of the money spinning competition.

Should AI Merreikh succeed in stopping Enyimba, the Aba giants would settle for a play off in the less lucrative CAF Confederation Cup where Rivers United are flying the nation’s flag.

It would be noted that the duo of Plateau United and Kano Pillars crashed out of the continent in the very first round.
