EEAST ‘Quinta Essentia’ Registration Deadline Date Set For July 1

July 1 has been set as the deadline for registration for the 5th Emmanuel Egbele Annual Scrabble Tournament (EEAST) titled ‘Quinta Essentia’.
Three categories have been designed for this edition as players with ratings from 1300 and above will seek for glory in the Elite level while players with 1299 and below will contest in the Challenger class.
The veterans will meet in the Sage category.
Intending players have been advised to signify and complete their registration process ahead of the deadline in order to avoid a late rush as the portal: https://eeast2025.netlify.app will be shut after July 1.
High turnout of players has usually been the regular feature of the EEAST as past editions have witnessed a high number of attendants.
Tournament Coordinator Hakeem Olaribigbe while commending registered players he urged all intending participants to complete their registration ahead of the date to avoid disappointment as there’s a threshold for the number of entries.
He also emphasised on the importance of meeting up with the registration deadline as it would guide the organisers in planning properly for the two-day championship.
Olaribigbe further stated that request after the July 1 deadline date would not be honoured as it would alter the execution process.
He declared that the organisers have resolved to deliver yet another glamorous scrabble experience.
The tournament has been scheduled to hold at the Eko Hotel and Suites from July 5 to 6.
