World Cup play off: Egbe sure of Eagles

By George Aluo

Nigeria’s leading stadium construction guru, Ebi Egbe has tipped the Super Eagles to get past Ghana and qualify for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

Egbe who sees the Eagles winning the two legged battle in Kumasi and Abuja however warned that the players must not see both legs like any other game.

“This is a game involving two arch rivals. The rivalry between Nigeria and Ghana in football didn’t start today. Eguavoen must make the players realize this. He must tell the players that losing to Ghana is a pill that Nigerians won’t like to swallow and as such they need to go all out. If the players play to their full potentials then we should win both legs,” Egbe said.

The Chief Executive Officer of Monimichelle Group said the game is a big opportunity for the coaching duo of Eguavoen and Amunike to make a bold statement ahead of the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

“An excellent outing against Ghana would be a good one for the duo after the sacking of Rohr. They need to do well and that way assure Nigerians that they can get the job done at the World Cup proper,” Egbe said.
