Chief Executive Officer of Monimichelle, Ebi Egbe has given a pat on the back to Remo Stars over the club’s fine start in the Nigerian professional league (NPFL) on Friday.
Remo started the season on a brilliant note with a 2-0 away victory over MFM who had no fire in their play at the Onikan waterfront.
Egbe whose outfit constructed the turf at Remo’s Ikenne home said he is confident the Kunle Soname Boys would do well this season, given the level of investment put in by the club’s proprietor.
“I want to congratulate Remo for a fine start to the season. I knew they would get the job done at Onikan which has the same kind of pitch which is at Ikenne. Remo is going to do well this season and spring surprises. The club proprietor, Soname has invested heavily in the team and I see the club doing well. Remo’s Ikenne home has some of the best facilities right now in the country. They have a geotech pitch, a state of the art scoreboard and a TV friendly arena. And that is the way to go,” Egbe said.
