Enakhena Honoured With Africa Congress Distinguish Award
Godwin Enakhena, the chairman of Nigeria Premier Football League side Sporting Lagos and the Director of Sports, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) has been bestowed with the Distinguished Fellowship Award by the Africa Congress on Christianity and Sports.
The foremost journalist who chaperoned wave-making club from the Nigeria National League (NNL) to the premier division last season got the accolade from the organisation who singled him out as a personality who has used his position to promote Christianity.
According to a letter signed by the Acting President of Africa Congress on Christianity and Sports Pastor (Professor) Clement Fasan, it said the body ” wishes to congratulate you on your numerous efforts in the propagation of the gospel through your labour in the vineyard of God and through your chosen career. Whether you like it or not, you have touched lives through the preaching of the gospel and using your career directly or indirectly to touch lives.”
“In recognition of these efforts of yours, we have decided to give you a Distinguished Fellowship Award of the Africa Congress on Christianity and Sports.”
The journalist cum sports administrator has shown his prowess in mentoring young men and women by nurturing their innate talents to manifestation
He recently guided the MFM Basketball team to their first Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) women’s league and will represent the country at the African championship in Egypt.
