ENUGU STATE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION EXPRESSES GRIEF ON DEATH OF CHAIRMAN CHRISTIAN CHUKWU

Enugu State football Association has expressed grief and shock on the sudden death of Chairman Christian Chukwu.
In a statement, the chairman Enugu State Football Association Barrister Tony Ugwu described the death of Coach Christian Chukwu as a great loss to the global football fraternity, and especially to Nigeria and Enugu State in particular.
According to him, Christian Chukwu (MFR) is a football legend and icon who lived all his life, playing, coaching and managing football all through his football career, noting that he came, saw and conquered football.
Captain, chairman Christian Chukwu as he is popular called according to him, exuded respect, humility, resilience, tact, discipline, integrity, popularity, aura, ruggedness, likable, envy of his peers in the playing and coaching circle.
Tony Ugwu enthused that Enugu State football Association is deeply saddened by the death of one its own, confidant, adviser and critical stakeholder of the state football Association, urging his family to take solace on his demise, and condole his wife and children and bear the irreparable loss with fortitude on the death of Chairman Christian Chukwuemeka Chukwu. He assured that the Enugu State football Association will put in place measures to immortalize the late football icon and Legend for posterity.
