Enyimba pitch excites Ogunbote, as Egbe reacts

The Enyimba geotech pitch constructed by Monimichelle has continued to receive accolade from stakeholders with the latest coming from Lobi Stars of Makurdi handler, Gbenga Ogunbote.
Ogunbote whose side played out a 1-1 draw with Enyimba on Wednesday said the lush green nature of the well manicured turf allowed his boys to express themselves to the fullest.
In the words of the experienced gaffer: “The pitch at the Enyimba Stadium provided my team (Lobi Stars) the opportunity to do well with the ball. It is a good pitch and when you play on a good pitch, I think you should be able to exhibit your skills
otherwise the essence of the pitch is defeated. So I think making best advantage of the pitch is what we did.”
Ogunbote who is a former manager of the Aba giants stressed that his decision to use some former Enyimba players in his squad also paid off.
“I think my decision to start with a five-man midfield that had four former Enyimba players in total was justified at the end. One thing is certain; when you’re playing against your former team, you want to raise your game to let them know that they missed somebody. If you play against your former team and you cannot do well, then you should equally leave the team you are now.”
Meanwhile, the CEO of Monimichelle Group, Ebi Egbe has expressed joy over the feedback he is getting from the job he did in Aba, even as he said the Onikan Stadium turf in Lagos is loading.
“In Monimichelle, we don’t compromise quality. I m happy coaches, players and even the fans are enjoying our work. Very soon, Onikan Stadium turf in Lagos would be ready and Nigerians would see another world class high breed pitch.”
