Expect a world class Mid- Year Wrestling bash- Olukoya

Secretary General of Pro- Wrestling Africa ( PWA) Olusesan Olukoya has assured wrestling fans that there won’t be any dull moment in the planned Mid- Year Wrestling championship bash slated for Saturday, June, 15, 2024 at the Gymnasium Hall of the National Institute For Sports ( NIS), National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.

Pro-Wrestling Africa, the apex body overseeing professional wrestling in African has assembled the best mats men in the continent to be led by United States of America based Nigerian born wrestler, King Kizzy, the AIWF America’s heavyweight champion who will be battling it out with African heavyweight champion, Jimmy Palm A.k.A African Dream in an American heavyweight championship Match tagged ‘ Return of the King.’

Other notable mats men that will be on parade includes; African Light heavyweight champion, Mr. Sharpman, Power Vic, 6.5, Big Joe, Major Ariba and God’s Kid amongst others.

The women event will also feature a continental title fight between Liberian Jenna Sweet and Cameroonian sensational wrestler, Vadex Pone who was accompanied to the country by the National President of the Cameroon Pro- Wrestling Federation (FECACATCH) who also doubles as the 1st Vice President of Pro- Wrestling Africa (PWA), Air Force Commander Emmanuel Ndo.

The PWA scribe believes that the assembling of these wrestling stars will enable fans have value for their money even as he promised that there won’t be any dull moment throughout the period of the fights.

Meanwhile HRH King Kizzy earlier speaking from his base in the United States appealed to wrestling fans to troop out in their numbers to see the stuff he’s made of which makes him the crave of the moment in America; saying that he’ll not leave anything to chance against his opponent.

” I’m really prepared to storm my home country and show wrestling fans the stuff am made of. I’ve been fighting for some time now in the States and believe this is the right time to fight before my countrymen. So, am appealing to fans to get ready to be treated to the best form of American wrestling and they won’t be disappointed being part of the show.

He also commended PWA for what the body is doing in taking wrestling to another pedestal in the continent; saying that they deserve the support of all to move the game forward.

Also speaking on the fight, Jimmy Palm ( The African Dream ) announced that the opportunity to further prove himself as the best heavyweight champion to have come out of Africa has come noting that Kizzy will go back to the states a disappointed person.

Mr. Sharp man who won the light heavyweight title last December expressed optimism that he’ll not disappoint his fans as his main target now is to progress further in the sports and win a world title belt for the country.
