Supporters Club ends year in grand style, as Ikpea gets innovative award

Members of Nigeria Football Supporters Club Friday , December, 23, 2022 rolled out the drums to celebrate another successful year.
The end of year party which held at Old School Restaurant, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos brought together members of the club, their families and friends who came to rejoice with them for having an eventful year.
In his remarks, National Chairman of the club. Rev. Samuel Ikpea commended members for keeping the spirit of friendship intact just as he charged them to always avoid such acts that will tarnish the image of the club which has been in existence for more than six decades.
” I’m happy that we are witnessing another successful year in the activities of the club and this is the right time to thank God for seeing us through our activities and we are hopeful that next year will be more eventful.
“it’s equally important I commend members of the club and my Executives for their comportment, discipline and support throughout the year and hope to get more support from them as we move into year 2023”, he stressed.
On what to expect next year, he declared that the club will continue to strategize in ensuring it retains its position as the best Supporters Club in the world while also taking the welfare of members serious.
“As a club which was adjuged as the best Supporters Club in the world by World Football Governing body FIFA ,we will continue to restrategise and improve on anything we do. You know that this club has been around for a very long time and we shall continue to strive to be the best while also improving on the welfare of our members which is important in any club.
Highlight of the occasion was the induction of new members into the club.
There was also award to some deserving members. The Best State chapter award went to Sokoto State while the Best Executive support member was won by Alhaji Kabiru Yusuf with the best member of the year award going to Olayiwola Fashola just as the National Chairman, Rev. Ikpea won the Best Innovative Executive of the year award.
Accepting the award. Ikpea thanked all the members and the organising committee for the end of year for finding him worthy for such an award even as he dedicated it to the entire members.
