FGC Warri ’92 Set Commends Tinubu On Ogbeide-Ihama Appointment As ED, Nigeria Delta PHCN

The appointment of Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama as an Executive Director (Strategy and Commercial) on the board of the Niger Delta Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) by President Bola Tinubu has been commended by the Federal Government College, Warri Set of ’92.

Ogbeide-Ihama who represented Oredo Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives from 2015 to 2023 was announced as one of of the seven-man management team of the Niger Delta PHCN by the President in a statement signed by his Special Advisor on Media and Publicity Ajuri Ngelale recently.

An engineer by profession, Hon. Ogbeide-Ihama’s appointment has been generating excitement among his classmates at FGC, Warri Set of 92.

They described his selection into the team as a round peg in a round hole.

Charles Uzamere, President of the FGC Warri Set of 92 while congratulating the former Edo State Governorship aspirant declared that they are very proud of this fresh development as one their own has been counted competent to bring a change to a critical company like the Niger Delta PHCN.

“This is a gladdening news to every member of our set and the Federal Government College, Warri in general.”

“We commend President Bola Tinubu for choosing one of our own Hon. Omoregie Ogbeide-Ihama as a Executive Director(Strategy and Commercial) of the Niger Delta PHCN.”

He continued, “He is no doubt the right man befitting the role. We are very proud of him and his experience will definitely be critical to the development of the Niger Delta PHCN.”

The team is headed by Engineer Jennifer Adighije — Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer. Others are: Engineer Abdullahi Kassim — Executive Director (Generation), Engineer Bello Babayo Bello — Executive Director (Networks), Mr. Emmmanuel Umeoji — Executive Director (Corporate Services), Mr. Omololu Agoro — Executive Director (Finance & Accounts) and Barrister Steven Andzenge — Executive Director (Legal Services).

Uzamere on behalf of their members wishes Hon. Ogbeide-Ihama the best and pledges their support as he takes on his new role in the development of the Niger Delta region.
