Enugu: Mbah’s victory excites Olopade, says he would invest in sports

Leading promoter of marathon races in Nigeria cum sports businessman, Bukola Olopade has expressed joy over the emergence of Bar Peter Mbah as Enugu state Governor-Elect.

Okopade in a chat with Newstap.com.ng described Mbah as a young man who loves sports and would invest in the sector.

“He is my very good friend and I know he would invest in sports,” Olopade stated.

Bar Mbah, Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP was declared the winner of Enugu Governorship election Wednesday night.

He polled a total vote of 160,895 to defeat the Labour Party candidate Barr Chijioke Edeoga who scored 157,552.
