Bauchi FA war: I have backing of congress -Patrick Pascal

Chairman of Bauchi State Football Association, Patrick Pascal says he has the backing of congress in running the affairs of the association even as he described those who purportedly passed a vote of no confidence on him as disgruntled elements who should not be taken serious.

It would be recalled that four out of the five Executive Committee members of the association namely; the first Vice Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Umar Madachi, Usman Abbas Shehu, Kabiru Yusuf and Abdulazeez Yusuf wrote a letter to the Secretary General of NFF informing him that a vote of no confidence was passed on him alleging high handedness in the running of the affairs of the association. They also informed the football house that they’ve appointed the 1st Vice Chairman, Alhaji Adamu Umar Madachi as the acting chairman of the FA pending when new  elections will be held.

But Patrick Pascal told our correspondent that he’s still in charge of the association and all decisions he took was approved by the General Congress and as such those who signed the purported letter of vote of no confidence should not be taken serious.as they’re rabble rousers.

” I want Nigerians and the football house not to take those who signed that letter serious because they are rabble rousers and all the decisions I take in the day to day running of the Bauchi FA has the backing of congress and they’re solidly behind me”, he stressed.

According to him, his major concern is how to make the association more vibrant and take the state’s football to higher level and will not be distracted by few disgruntled individuals who have noting to offer the association
