Arise TV Anchor, Rufai, to grace Sportsville Awards Ceremony

Scores of dignitaries have confirmed their eager anticipation of Friday’s Sportsville Special Recognition Awards ceremony billed for Eko Club, Surulere, Lagos.

The latest to join his or her name to the ever growing list is the highly-celebrated and notable Arise TV Anchor, Oseni Rufai.

The widely travelled Anchor, affirmed his delight to grace the occasion in a discussion with Mr Frank Ilaboya, Chief Executive Officer of Sportsville.

“Frank Ilaboya, I got your invite and I will surely attend. I have already cleared my diary for that day.

“The sports sector is very vibrant and we need awards of this nature to motivate and encourage the stakeholders more.”

Rufai’s confirmation headlines the lengthy list of dignitaries who have identified with this year’s edition of the glamorous Sportsville Special Recognitions Awards.

This list includes former D’Tigers Captain and Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) member, Olumide Oyedeji.

Assuring his attendance, he said “You can always count on me for anything you are doing. This is one award that is devoid of sentiments and monetary inducements, as a recipient in 2022 edition, I can confidently say this.”

In the same vein, the organisers have added integrity category to this year’s edition to encourage practitioners to imbibe integrity in sports administration.

This recent addition has caught the attention of a five-time Olympian and Sports Integrity expert, Bose Kaffo.

Bose Kaffo went on to add, “Integrity in sports is one aspect we are overlooking in this part of the world, and I am very happy Sportsville is spearheading this all- important aspect of sports.”

This year’s edition of the highly esteemed Sportsville Special Recognitions Awards comes up March 1st at the exhilarating walls of ECO Club, Surulere, Lagos State, South West, Nigeria.
