Fosla FC Clinch Title at Sarki Karshi NLO Unity Preseason Tournament

Fosla FC have been crowned champions of the maiden edition of the Sarki Karshi NLO Unity Preseason Tournament after a dominant 3–0 victory over Mercy Tree Academy in the final played at the Fosla Stadium in Karshi.
The week-long competition brought together teams preparing for the upcoming Nationwide League One (NLO) season, with Fosla FC emerging as the standout side.
They wasted no time asserting their dominance in the final, taking a two-goal lead in the first half through Ganaja and captain Solomon Onu.
Fosla continued their attacking display in the second half, and Onu sealed the victory with his second goal of the match, skillfully beating defenders before finishing calmly to complete his brace.
The final drew, a sizeable crowd, including key figures in Nigerian football. Among those present were the Chief Operating Officer of the NLO, Olushola Ogunnowo, who performed the ceremonial kickoff, and former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Sani Lulu Abdullahi.
Speaking after the match, Onu praised the tournament organizers for providing a platform for teams to prepare and showcase their abilities. He also noted that Fosla FC would address observed weaknesses ahead of the new NLO season, which is scheduled to kick off on April 10.
The tournament marks a significant step in grassroots football development, offering clubs valuable competitive experience ahead of the league campaign.
