Funsho Peters outlines GreenLock Academy’s objectives, ambitions

Executive Vice Chairman of GreenLock Football Academy, Funsho Peters, has outlined the academy’s objectives and ambitions.
The academy held its official inauguration ceremony last weekend at the Navy Sports Complex in Satellite Town, Lagos.
“It’s been about a year and a half now, although it feels like it has been 10 years or more. I’m excited to see what we can achieve moving forward.
“The GreenLock Academy has both residential and non-residential players. We aim to share our football knowledge to help the sport grow across Lagos.
“Talent and children who join the academy will also have the opportunity to successfully complete their education, as we have established agreements with top schools in Satellite Town where our players can continue their studies.
“Their development doesn’t stop here; the best players will have opportunities to showcase their skills at the international level.”
“We will be competing in the NLO, and I’m eager to see how we perform. My focus is on taking it one game at a time.
“While it would be wonderful for the GreenLock Academy to be promoted to the next tier league in Nigeria, what matters most to me is ensuring these players are fully prepared to compete at the next level when the opportunity arises.”
