Gawuna Felicitates Nigerians On New Year
Chairman of Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has sent a new year message to Nigerians, urging them to embrace the spirit of tolerance and live in peace and harmony with their neighbours even as he predicted a brighter future in 2026.
In a new year message he personally signed, he expressed confidence that year 2026 will usher peace and prosperity to the country and charged all Nigerians to be steadfast and avoid acts capable of disrupting the peace of the country.
” I want to use this opportunity to wish all Nigerians a happy and prosperous new year. As we match into 2026, I have no doubt in my mind that things will be better this new year.
” There is need for Nigerians to put their differences aside and live in peace and harmony with each other as that’s the only way the country can progress.
According to Gawuna who also doubles as President of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria ( YSFON), Nigerians should have hope in the country as they don’t have any other country apart from Nigeria and also pray for the success of the government this year as it tries to surmount the security challenges facing the country, ranging from banditry, terrorism, kidnapping and other criminal activities by some misguided individuals
