The Scrabble Association of Ghana (SCAG) will today begin a two-day capacity building for individuals who seek to improve their knowledge on the tournament software, The Software House (TSH) for the game.
TSH is a tournament management software that assist tournament officials in generating tournament pairings, standings, statistics and reports.
Designed by John Chew, the software was created to help in making tournaments record easy to keep/store and easy to follow by people that were not physically at the tournament environment.
Top Nigerian Scrabble Technical Director Khaleel Adedeji will be on hand at the Media Center of the Accra Sports Stadium from January 13-14 to share his vast knowledge in the TSH with participants attending the training.
Adedeji popularly known as “Dynamite” has been the lead director at top international scrabble tournaments like the MGI franchise, Scrabble In The Jungle, Gambia National Championship, the Emmanuel Egbele Annual Tournament and many others where the TSH had been applied.
His comportment and maturity at resolving technical issues has attracted the Ghana scrabble as the key facilitator needed in expanding the technical base of the mind game in their country.
SCAG Chairman Haruna Adamu believed the training has been well positioned to help the participants prepare adequately as the rest of the continent will converge in the West African nation for the African Games scheduled to hold in March this year.
