God has been more than faithful -Celestine Okere, Aladinma of Ihitte Okwe Ancient Kingdom

Chief Celestine Okere this Easter basked in the euphoria of the Lord’s resurrection in style.

Okere 91, was not just celebrating Easter but what he called God’s abundant blessings in his life.

The Ngor Okpala, Imo State High Chief disclosed that he rolled out the drums on Easter Monday to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his chieftaincy installation as Aladinma 1 of Ihitte Okwe Ancient Kingdom in Ngor Okpala Local Government Area of Imo State.

“I am giving God all the glory for keeping me alive today to celebrate the 20th anniversary of my chieftaincy installation. I have since my installation served my community in spirit and in truth and in line with the meaning of the title Aladinma, I have ensured peace reigns in Ihitte Okwe.”

Continuing Chief Okere said…”I can’t thank God enough for his faithfulness. He has given me good health. At 91,I am as articulate as I was as a youth. My life has been that of from grass to grace.

“Over 30 years ago I returned home to my community Ihitte Okwe after working in different parts of the country especially in Lagos where I rose to become General Manager in three different companies.

“Today I’m resting at home a very fulfilled man with children that are doing very well in their respective professions. I am blessed with children who are lawyers, Chartered accountants, bankers PhD holders, name it… what blessing can be more than that? Honestly, I consider myself as the most blessed man in Ngor Okpala.”

Okere who last year celebrated his 50th wedding anniversary with his Lolo, Agnes Okere said he would not relent in his efforts at promoting peace in his community and contributing to the development of Ngor Okpala, a Local Government which he noted deserves to be given more attention by Imo State government.
