Pa Obed Nnamani for burial March 5

The Nnamani family of Amugo Isiorji, Akpugo in Nkanu West local government area of Enugu state has disclosed that their late patriarch, Pa Obed Christopher Nnamani (Eziokwu bu ndu) would be buried March 5, 2021 at their Akpugo country home.

A release signed by his son, Uche Franklin Nnamani stated their 103 year-old father who slept in the Lord January 26 would be laid to rest on March 5.

Uche Nnamani stated that a funeral mass would be celebrated for their father at the St Jude Parish, Ogonogo Eji Ndu Uno Catholic Church after which burial would take place at the Nnamani Nwede’s Compound, Amugo Isiorji Akpugo.

The release further disclosed that a Committee of Friends headed by Olisa Onuchukwu has been constituted to give Pa Nnamani a befitting burial.

The Committee of Friends has several ex Rangers as members, given the fact that Uche Franklin, who is fondly called Temile is a football stakeholder.

Onuchukwu on his part said the committee has already swung into action pointing out that Pa Nnamani was a great community leader who always stood for nothing but the truth hence he was nicknamed (Eziokwu bu ndu) which literally interpreted means “truth is life.”

Some members of the committee include 042 Football Legends Association promoter, Chikelue Iloenyosi and USA based Eric Asomugha.
Uche Franklin is also the coordinator of 042 Legends Association in the United States.
