Handball : Nigeria’s under age teams soar at IHF Trophy Africa Zone 3 Phase in Ghana 

Nigeria U-18 and 20 teams, Thursday, comfortably defeated their opponents at IHF Trophy Africa Zone 3 ongoing in Accra Ghana.

Nigeria’s U-18 handball team earlier on in the day completely outclassed Togo 50-16 to get into the final of the IHF Trophy Africa Zone 3 where they are expected to defend their title.

Aliyu Rufia was voted MVP of the match for inspiring a great performance for the team.

Nigeria’s U-20 led by Coach Fidelis Obi, then faced off against Benin Republic and they earned an emphatic 47-20 to get into the semi final place where they will play Cote’d’voire at 8pm.

James Kuti was voted the MVP of the match .
