HEDA recalls 5th edition of Compendium

The Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA) Resource Center), author of the “Compendium of 100 High Profile Corruption Cases in Nigeria,’’ has recalled the 5th edition of the publication due to printing error.

Although the recall was originally announced during the presentation of the Compendium on Dec. 9, 2021, in Ikeja, Lagos, however, HEDA said that while most of the distributed copies were retrieved, a few others could not be recovered.

Therefore, it urged those who might still have the recalled version to kindly return it to HEDA’s office as soon as possible.

A statement on Sunday in Lagos by its Chairman, Mr Olanrewaju Suraju, HEDA said: “We have come a long way in producing the seminal publication which has continued to serve as an important resource material to all stakeholders in the fight against corruption both locally and internationally.

“Therefore, as an organisation which will never compromise integrity, we take every error, however minute, very seriously.

“We are recalling the 5th Edition of the Compendium of 100 High Profile Corruption Cases in Nigeria’’ due to printing errors.

“We have also commenced a comprehensive review of the publication to further proof it of any such error however minute.

“Therefore, a reviewed version of the publication will be released in the first quarter of 2022,’’ Suraju said.
