NWFL: Vandi canvasses referees accessors for matches

Technical Adviser of Adamawa Queens of Yola, Jacob Vandi has advised members of the Nigeria Women Football League to consider appointing referees accessors for matches in the League.
According to him, this year’s League witnessed a lot improvement from previous ones but regretted that there were some questionable decisions by the referees which affected the League.
” I must have to commend the League management for doing a wonderful job this season. Unlike in the past, we now have teams winning away matches and even loosing at home which made the whole thing interesting.
“But some referees took some questionable decisions which affected the flow of the game and there is need for the League board to appoint match accessors for matches
” What I noticed is that some of the referees are upcoming ones and they made a lot of mistakes but if there is match accessors, the referees will be careful because they know they’re being watched”, he said.
