Hilda Baci, Lekki Scrabble Classic Guest Targets New Guinness World Record On September 12 

 

Scrabble enthusiast and guest player at the 2024 Lekki Scrabble Classic and Celebrity Chef Hilda Baci will on Friday, September 12 attempt to create a new world record by cooking the biggest pot of jollof rice.

 

Baci who graced the 2024 edition of Lekki Scrabble Classic where she teamed up with teenage scrabble sensation and current Best Female Player at the 2025 World Youth Scrabble Championship in Malaysia Sophia Ekeruche for an exhibition against a Team of the Lekki Scrabble Club Glamazon Adeola Aguba and another prodigy Favour Nwabuzor.

 

She would later present the title alongside President of Lekki Scrabble Club Samuel Anikoh to the winner of the tournament Charles Tachie-Menson of Ghana.

 

The culinary star broke the Guinness Book of World Record in 2023 after a marathon cooking exercise for 19 hours and 11 minutes to earn a global fame.

She will make a go again at another history by cooking the largest pot of rice of about 250 bags in Lagos.

 

This has drawn some solidarity from the scrabble community who offer their support for the scrabble enthusiast.

 

They believed she has what it takes to reach another pinnacle as they wished her well in the unique human endeavour.
