Bayelsa State Commissioner For Sports Development, Honourable Daniel Igali, has expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Bayelsa Queens following their stellar performance to emerge winners of the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership Super Six in Ikenne, Ogun State
Bayelsa Queens came tops of the Super Six amassing 10 points ahead of Nasarawa Amazons after a remarkable 4-1 win over Naija Ratels on Saturday
Igali, in a felicitation message he personally signed, lauded the inspiring victory.
Describing that the win did not only showcase the talent and resilience of the team but also solidifies their position as a top side that will hope to give Nigeria a better representation at the CAF Women’s Champions League

He also acknowledged the importance of the achievement in preparing to give Nigeria excellent presentation at the continental level. A feat Bayelsa Queens holds the highest finish among Nigerian women clubs.
