General Manager of Nigeria National League side (NNL), newcomers, Igbajo FC, Prince Adekunle Fakile said his team is happy playing in the second tier league just as he commended the general organisation of the league and conduct of match officials.
He stated this yesterday (Sunday) during the team’s week five encounter against Inter Lagos at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Arena ( Onikan Stadium), Lagos.
According to him, the NNL is an interesting league and the officiating has been very perfect noting that since the commencement of the League season, they’ ve not had any cause to complain about either the organisation of their games or officiating which has helped in building the team’s confidence about the most important league in the country.
“I want to say that we’re happy to be part of the NNL. We at Igbado FC are equally impressed with the officiating which has been very perfect and we hope it will continue like this till the end of the season.
“It’s also important that I commend Mr. George Aluo’s led board of the NNL for the transformation they’ve brought to the league which made it possible for teams to play their games on a level playing ground.”
Fakile said his team would improve with every game insisting that they would at the end of the race finish well.
Igbajo despite putting up a fine performance against Inter Lagos lost the match by 2-0.
”We are returning home to keep working hard and we hope to improve with every game,” Fakile said.
