I’m Excited to be Nominated For 2026 AIWF Hall of Fame Award in USA – Ikpea

The National Chairman of Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC), Rev. Amb. Samuel Ikpea is not a wrestler but a key patron, supporter, and advocate of professional wrestling in Africa.
He achieved these feet through his relationship with Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), a continental professional wrestling organization dedicated to the development, promotion, and global recognition of African pro wrestling talents.
The body also serves as a unifying platform for Professional wrestlers, promoters, and wrestling federations across the African continent.
He will be attending the 34th Pro Wrestling Championship Anniversary and AIWF Induction Ceremony as an African nominee to be inducted into the AIWF Hall of Fame 2026.
The 34th AIWF Anniversary championship will hold from Friday 20th March 2026 to Sunday 22nd March 2026 at Mt. Airy, North Carolina, USA and the Nigerian team consists of Rev. Samuel Ikpea, Olusesan Olukoya and Barr. Ronke Omolara Koku who are driving the development of the sports continentally.
Ikpea’s would be honoured with Hall of Fame induction and public recognition for helping drive the sport’s development on the continent as a prominent figure in African sports, particularly wrestling and football supports, being nominated to attend the function in USA. He would be inducted into the Allied Independent Wrestling Federations (AIWF) Hall of Fame 2026 for his significant contributions to the sport in Africa, working with bodies like Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA) and AIWF Africa to promote wrestling events and talents.
Apart from being the National Chairman of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, he’s known for supporting local wrestlers, fostering community engagement and advocating for unity among Nigerian athletes.
Ikpea has been recognized for extensive support and patronage of wrestling across the continent and for his supports to PWA and other initiatives to grow professional wrestling in Nigeria and other African nations.
As a community builder, he is involved in encouraging local wrestling initiatives, like those in Lagos and Abuja, to become world rated talents. His efforts with PWA and AIWF Africa aim to bring African wrestling to the global stage, identifying and nurturing new talents.
On cross-sport Influence, his involvement extends from football to professional wrestling, special sports etc, showing a broad commitment to sports development in Africa.
The AIWF Hall of Fame nomination highlights his dedication as a patron and supporter, going “extra miles” for the sport and thanks to the Allied Independent Wrestling Federations (AIWF), a major global professional wrestling body that works with independent promotions worldwide for this huge honour.
Speaking on the nomination, Olusesan Olukoya, the Secretary General of the Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), a major wrestling promotion/governing organization in Africa that develops events, titles, and training pathways for wrestlers across the continent who will be on the team to the USA trip who is also a 2026 AIWF hall of fame inductee emphasized that the support of Rev. Ikpea can not be quantified based on all his supports over the years as he has played crucial roles in supporting continental wrestling championships and initiatives that help grow the sport and give African wrestlers opportunities internationally.
