Imo FA boss thumbs up TSM for investing in NNL and NWFL

Chairman of Imo State Football Association, Barrister Ifeanyi Dike has commended the management of TSN Group for it’s decision to invest in the Nigeria National League ( NNL) and the Nigeria Women Football League ( NWFL).
The company last week
unveiled plan to invest N40 billion over a period of ten years on the two leagues and Dike believes it is a good development that will rob off positively on the nation’s domestic league.
” This is a very good development for the country’s football. Such huge investment will not only help in developing the league but will go a long way in changing the narratives of the country’s domestic football.
He charged other corporate organizations to emulate TSM, insisting that the leagues can’t get better without the involvement of corporate bodies.
” I want to call on other corporate bodies to emulate TSM and invest in the country’s football because that’s the only way the country’s domestic league can get better as is done in other climes “, he stressed.
Barrister Dike was also full of praise to the chairman of NNL, Mr. George Aluo for the transformation he has brought to the second tier league
” Kudos must go to the NNL board led by Mr. George Aluo for the transformation witnessed in the second tier league.
” What he has done is unprecedented in the history of the NNL. This was a league, nobody reckoned two years ago with many people describing it as a cash and carry league but all that is now a thing of the past”, he said
