Imo: Uzodinma swings into action…names Nwachukwu CPS

Imo State governor, Hope Uzodinma has swung into action barely two days after his swearing in as he announced his first batch of appointments.
Renowned journalist, Oguwike Nwachukwu was named the governor’s Chief Press Secretary (CPS), while Cosmas Iwu was appointed the Secretary to Government (SSG).
Newstap.com.ng gathered that the governor has vowed to hit the ground running by taking immediate actions that would impact positively on the state and restore hope in line with his name.
Dr Mathew Nwogu, (Eziaha ka ego, Ngor Okpala) an APC stalwart in the state told Newstap.ng.com that he is confident Uzodinma would do well, even as he congratulated the governor on his Supreme Court victory.
Nwogu stated that the Supreme Court was right in its landmark judgement stating:”The judgement was sound and a true reflection of the impartiality and shrewdness expected of members of the most revered bench in the country.”
