Industrialization of Igboland deserves topmost priority, Iwuanyanwu advises investors

Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, ( Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo) and the President General, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide has advised Nigeria investors of Igbo extractions, to give industrialization of Igboland top most priority in their business agenda.

According to Mr.Ben Osuagwu,Special Adviser, Media & Publicity to Chief Iwuanyanwu in a statement he endorsed and released to media men in Owerri including informed that his principal gave the advise within the week at the house of Chief Innocent Madubuko in Port harcourt, Rivers State during his official maiden visit with the National Executive members of the apex sociocultural organization.

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide boss pointed out that all the raw materials needed for rapid industrialization of Igbo land are available in large quantities in virtually all the states in South East, including her adjoining states.

According to Chief Iwuanyanwu, ” limestone for cement and ceramic productions are available in Imo, Enugu, Abia, Anambra and Ebonyi States, while sand for glass production is at Azumini Rivers in Abia State.
The limestones that are available will be enough for four to five cement factories, and the cement factories if set up will supply cements to other African countries” he assured.

He also informed that Igbos are known all over the world as great developers and good people who do not grab what does not belong to them but ensures that they live responsibly with their host communities.

Iwuanyanwu applauded Igbos for their ingenuity in creating goods and services, pay their taxes anywhere they find themselves, even as he lamented that despite the ethnic group’s contributions in the socio economic developments and transformations of their host communities, that they are jealously hated due to their ingenuity, entrepreneurship and sincerity of purpose.

On issue concerning Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide said that efforts are been intensified for his freedom and expressed optimism that he will be released soon.

Iwuanyanwu recalled that the Court had handled the matter and ruled that he had no case to answer, and wonder why he’s still being detained. He also cautioned against something ill happening to him while still in custody of the Directorate State Security, DSS decrying that if he dies in Prison, there may be problem.

Earlier, In his speech, the host, Chief Innocent Madubuko thanked the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo for honouring him and his family with the visit, and advised members of the Executives on the need to always offer good advise to the President General, pointing out that by so doing, success will always be achieved.

Among members of the executive council that honoured the visitation are; the Vice President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Chief Ogene, Assistant National Treasurer Dr. Ezechi Chukwu, President Ohanaeze Ndigbo Imo Chapter Barr C.J. Ihemedu, Rivers President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Dr. Lucky Chukwu, High Chief Udoka Bestman Akuchie, Chief Samuel Iwuchukwu , Chairman BoT & Patron AASDU, Chief Mike Agbasi, Ikenga Ukpor, Chief Sir Chijioke Tasie ,Mayor of Owerri Nkworji, among other dignitaries.
