Swiss club, FC Witikon promotes Nigerian gaffer Adedeji Adeyemi to first team

It was celebration galore for Nigerians living in Switzerland as a former Stationery Stores of Lagos forward, Adedeji Adeyemi Anthony was promoted by his club, FC Witikon to the first team 2liga as 1st Assistant Coach.
Adeyemi, who recently penned a deal as the Head Coach of FC Witikon in third league has barely spent 5 months months in charge.
Speaking from his base in Switzerland Adeyemi said…”What a great news of promotion from my base here in Switzerland! My club FC Witikon has promoted me to our first team 2liga as 1st Assistant Coach. This means that I will start with 2 liga come next season 2023/24 from summer. It would be recalled that I was appointed the Head Coach of 3liga in December,2022. This calls for celebration.”
The Lagos state born tactician was quick to add…”I have been with the team doing my job for five months now and that is January. After seeing my hard work, training philosophy and model, they got sparked up. Also my tactical inputs impacted and helped their junior and senior sides. That was obviously what prompted them and they told me that they have no choice than to bring me up to the second league. That is how they promoted me to the second liga. To God be the glory. As I said earlier, this calls for celebration!.”
The former Stationery Stores player previously had coaching stints with FC Dubendorf and FC Kloten Frauen.
The 38-year-old, who has a UEFA B coaching license, once represented Nigeria at the U-17 and U-2O levels.
He won the 1998 FA Cup with Stationery Stores of Lagos.
Anthony stressed that he looks forward to consolidating on the technical prowess that earned him accelerated promotion within five months.
