Kaduru gets thumbs up for support to Uzodinma, APC

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr. Chijioke Kaduru has received thumbs up from stakeholders of the party for his continued support to Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State and the ruling party in the state.
Kaduru, who has indicated his interest to run for the senatorial seat of Imo West(Owerri) district in 2027 got the applause last week when APC leaders of Ngor Okpala converged for a stakeholders meeting, convened by the Executive Chairperson of Ngor Okpala, Hon Mrs. Chika Ibekwe.
The crucial meeting which also had the esteemed presence of the Imo State Chairman of the party, Hon Macdonald Ebere and other members of the State APC executive, who visited the area for the official function of pivotal accreditation of the party structures at both local government and ward levels.
The stakeholders in their separate speeches applauded Kaduru for his ‘uncommon loyalty and support’ to the Governor Uzodimma and the APC as well as his generosity, compassion and dedication to human and community development which has contributed significantly to the resurgence of party activities at the grass-roots and restored hope to numerous vulnerable individuals and communities.
The stakeholders noted with delight and gratitude that Dr Kaduru whom they described as a ‘great patriot’ has continuously and relentlessly maintained all round and unprecedented support to the party and Gov. Hope Uzodimma’s policies, programs and projects in the state.
The litany of glowing encomiums which echoed throughout the meeting, followed Dr Kaduru’s goodwill message to the august gathering, delivered by his representative, Hon. Chukwuma Anuforo, Co- Convener of Nkwachikwere Community Development Movement, NCDM, the fastest growing political pressure group in the state presently.
Hon. Anuforo who is also Gov. Uzodimma’s Liaison Officer, for Obiangwu/Ezemba Ward 10, in his brief remarks had reeled out the numerous contributions of his principal toward supporting the good governance of the governor and the party.
According to him, Kaduru had made a donation of N500,000 to each of the eleven wards in the area, as well as financial and material empowerment to countless members of the party from across the eleven wards of Ngor Okpala Local Government Area.
He also highlighted his decision to singlehandedly bear the cost of registration of beneficiaries of the laudable health policy of Gov. Uzodimma’s Health insurance Scheme from the LGA.
Responding to Hon Kaduru’s goodwill message, APC State Party Chairman, Hon. Macdonald Ebere expressed immense happiness over Dr Kaduru’s unwavering commitment and passion for the growth and development of the party, as shown by continuous financial lifeline.
He further lauded Kaduru for his demonstration of practical commitment to supporting the state health insurance policy of Gov Uzodimma among other policies and programmes.
Other leaders also took turns to shower encomiums on the world renown Public health expert who has played key roles in the transformative health systems of over a dozen African countries, for his absolute loyalty and unflinching support to the governor, and the party, as well his remarkable achievements in humanitarian services, empowerment and community development.
They highlighted these efforts to include cash donations made to the party for nearly a decade now, massive financial and material empowerment drive that captured all wards in the local government, and construction and equipping of a state of the art primary healthcare centre for Obiangwu Autonomous Community.
