President of the Kickboxing Federation of Nigeria (KBFN), Mr. Mike Eneduwa has reiterated his interest in repositioning Kickboxing Sport in the Country.
Speaking in Abuja while interacting with sports journalists during the just concluded 2nd Africa Military Games tagged ‘AMGA 2024’, Eneduwa stressed on the need for Unity in Kickboxing.
He hinted that although what is preoccupying his entire mind right now is how to reposition kickboxing in Nigeria to bring it at per with the rest of the world rather than being involved in internal politics, but unity is very key if the sport must develop beyond its present level in the country .
As the President, Eneduwa emphasizes on building a lasting legacy for Nigeria Kickboxing which the up coming generation will be proud of.
With his experience as former President, Eneduwa sees his second coming as a blessing for Nigeria as he will use it to correct some ills that has bedevilled the sports recently and appealed to the stakeholders to join forces with him in the crusade..
” I believe this my second coming is for a purpose. Although the period is too short for me to carry out all my plans and make meaningful changes, but nevertheless I will try the best I can in doing something positive for the sport.
“I want to build a lasting legacy for Nigeria Kickboxing which upcoming generation will see and be proud of.
Alhough the time is too short for me to implement all what I have in stock, I however appeal to all the stakeholders to give me the needed support so that together we shall get things done right”, he stressed
It would be recalled that Kickboxing Sport was one of the events competed for at the just concluded 2nd Africa Military Games held in Abuja tagged ‘AMGA 2024’ which Nigeria emerged as the overall Champions.
