Lagos Legends Club Visits Ailing Soccer Star Henry Nwosu

It was fun, happiness and comraderie, rather than gloom, when members of Lagos Legends Club (LLC), paid another visit to ailing Green Eagles Star, Henry Nwosu, at his new luxury home in Ikeja, Lagos.

The delegation of the group former footballers led by the covener, Waidi Akanni, while presenting a cheque of monetary support to Nwosu, expressed the excitement of the group over the improvement of Nwosu’s health and thank God for His mercies upon the life of the soccer legend.

Responding, an excited Henry Nwosu thanked the players that included his teammates for the love and support. The once skilful midfield maestro was effusive in praises for the Governor of Lagos State,  Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his support and assistance in rehabilitating him.

“I am very happy with this visit. It shows that we remain one family. I thank my colleagues, teammates and friends for this visit. It’s a great life for me.

“I can’t thank the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu enough for his assistance. He’s God-sent. I pray that God continue to bless and protect him and his family,” Nwosu prayed.

The Secretary of the LLC, Monday Kanu, also thanked the members of LLC on the visit of the group. While enjoining members to remain united and rally around each other, the former ACB star was quick to thank Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for his support for the former soccer legend.
