APGA candidate bankrolls soccer tournament in Nnewi

Grassroots football in Anambra State has gotten another lift courtesy of APGA’s state assembly candidate, Comrade Peter Nwosu.

Nwosu is bankrolling a football tournament which kicks off Monday November 28 in Nnewi.

The tournament which has been endorsed by Anambra FA would get underway at St Marks Nnewichi Field with Chikelue Iloenyosi (De General) gracing the opening ceremony.

Iloenyosi said yesterday that he is happy youths in the state would be busy this festive season playing the round leather game.

He was full of praise for the sponsor of the tournament Comrade Peter Nwosu who he described as lover of youths.
