YSFON President, Gawuna felicitates with Muslims on EId- el-Kabir

National President of Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria ( YSFON) Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna has felictated with Muslims on this year’s EId- el-Kabir even as he charged them to use the festival as a period of sober reflection.
In a message he personally signed, he reminded Muslim faithfuls on the need to use the period of sacrifice to reflect on their relationship with Almighty Allah just as he enjoined them to show love to their neighbours as was exhibited by Prophet Mohammed.
“As we celebrate this year’s EId-el-Kabir, it is important that I remind Muslim faithfuls to use this period to reflect on their relationship with their creator as well as show love and kindness to one another as was exemplified by the holy Prophet.
“They should also show kindness to both Muslims and non Muslims alike and avoid any act that will go contrary to the teachings of the holy Koran”, he said.
Gawuna who also doubles as Deputy Governor of Kano State and the Gubernatorial candidate of All Progressive Congress ( APC) in the 2023 general election also spoke of the need for Muslims to remain peaceful, relate well with their neighbours and avoid acts capable of breaching the peaceful coexistence in the country.
“I equally want to admonish Muslim faithfuls to continue to live Peacefully with people of other faiths and avoid those things that will cause disharmony in the country”, he concluded.
