Man U’s keeper, De Gea goes off gear as Villarreal win Europa League

By George Aluo
It was night of drama in Gdańsk as Chukwueze’s Villarreal lifted the Europa League after beating favorites Manchester United 11-10 on penalties.
The game ended 1-1 after full and extra time before it went into the lottery of penalties.
All the 11 players on the field on both sides kept scoring only for De Gea to throw away his kick when he faced Villarreal’s Rulli.
Wednesday night’s victory is the first European title for the yellow sub marines tutored by former Arsenal manager Unai Emery.
Chukwueze was not in action in the final no thanks to a hamstring injury suffered in the semi final game against Arsenal.
