Ministry of Industry,Trade and Investment holds third- quarter retreat
Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment on Tuesday, November, 19, 2024 organised it’s third- quarter retreat aimed at taking stock of the achievements of the Ministry in the quarter under review.
The retreat which had the Minister of State for the Ministry, Senator John Owan Enoh in attendance was held at the NEPC Auditorium and enabled top management staff which includes the Permanent Secretary, Directors of the Ministry, Chief Executive Officers of Parastatals and Delivery Task Officers to take stock of the Ministry’s performance as well as chart a way forward.
In his remarks at the retreat with the theme, ‘ A Review on The Third Quarter Implementation of The Presidential Mandate And Ministry’s Deliverables’, Minister Enoh reminded the participants that the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment plays a crucial role in realizing President Tinubu’s vision for Nigeria.
He harped on the need for the Ministry to focus more on the President’s seven priority areas which includes; Accelerating Diversification through industralization, Digitization, and Innovative Technology which gives opportunity for job creation, boost exports and enhance the country’s economic competitiveness.
Senator Enoh noted that as Minister he’s committed to meeting those targets and fulfilling the mandates, urging the top management staff to take their jobs serious as well as think outside the box on how to move the Ministry forward.
