Monchengladbach youth star ready for Nigeria

..Says he's in love with the country


Germany based footballer, David Stockbrink says he would feel honoured to get a Nigeria youth football team invitation as soon as possible.
The Monchengladbach U-19 team Captain has a Nigerian mother
and a German father but says it’s his dream to feature for the African
country, adding that he has been monitoring youth football development in the country for sometime now.

‘’From the onset, I have always dreamt of wearing a Nigerian jersey. Mum have told me a lot of beautiful things about the country and I would be
glad to be part of the experience as a footballer.
“It’s always my target to boost such
passionate people when given the opportunity’’, began David
Stockbrink who was born on October 30, 2006.

The left backman who recently signed a deal with Warta Poznan 1912 Academy of Poland said he would be comfortable playing from left or
right of defence having done so with FC Monchengladbach U-19
Niederrheim since July ,2023 till date.

David Stockbrink informed that he is very enthusiastic about a Nigerian
opportunity just as he is looking forward to starting the next season with Warta Poznan Akademic U- 19 in Poland very soon.
