Evangelist Beatrice Ngozi Nzuruike, is the General Overseer of The Altar of Grace International Praise Centre, Mboke Ihiagwa in Owerri West Local Government Area of Imo State and with a Foundation committed to helping and empowering widows, widowers, less privileged, poorest of the poor and people living with disabilities in the society.

She described her philanthropic and charitable services as her divinely ordained ministry that gives her satisfaction and self fulfillment in life.

Lady Nzuruike who’s a German trained Care Giver disclosed this in an exclusive interview with Newstap.com.ng, noting also that one of her fundamental missions in life is to show people the light so that they could be emancipated from darkness to light.

“I have a divine calling of helping people to understand their purpose and mission in life. Nobody is useless in life, no matter the situation, you have no reason to be frustrated, helpless nor be demoralized” she stated.

On why she have special delights in empowering her Church members with her personal resources instead of the perceived norm of men of God taking from their members, she said, “it’s a divine directive, likened to Jesus Christ washing the feet of his Apostles and Disciples and in fulfilment of God’s order of feeding His flocks, and being a servant leader.

“We as men of God should care not only about the spiritual needs of the flocks but also their physical and economic needs, this is a subtle way of bringing them to Christ, the redeemer and saviour of mankind.

“This is why I always have the urge to help them. At times, some of them are depressed over lack of something to eat with their families. It pays to be compassionate and show love to people who are in need. It’s a strategic way of saving souls.

“Honestly, it’s not only giving them food to eat, am so serious in empowering them to start something no matter how small, because you cannot afford to feed them every time.

“Most people I have helped in starting up trading, some learning skills and others, offering their children academic scholarship.

This is excluded to food items and clothes, I regularly gives to them, just for them to feel happy and relevant. I just give God all the praises”.

She pointed out that her philanthropic nature and charity works are products of divine directives since she was born and she feels delighted seeing people smile and happy because of the little impacts, God uses her to better their lives.

The revered Evangelist who’s also a University of Benin, (Uniben) graduate in Public Administration equally observed that her philanthropic nature is not only in her Ihiagwa community but also in Benin, Lagos and most communities in Nigeria and abroad.

” Honestly, I feel happy and satisfied helping humanity, despite ingratitude of many, I don’t even need human appreciation nor commendations.

God has been so wholesome and wonderful to me. I owe Him gratitude of praises and worship.

“The job I do in Germany is a job that deserves immense compassion and tolerance. I take care of old people. I passionately take care of their needs, their health situations. If I philanthropically do similar things in my country, in all honesty, I feel equally satisfied and fulfilled”.

She informed that it’s about one year she came back to Nigeria and probably to settle down in doing God’s divined missions and visions to her noting that the ministry, The Altar of Grace International Praise Centre, and the humanitarian foundation were inaugurated on June 1st, 2025; saying that she is so impressed with what God is doing the ministry.

Nzuruike also condemned a situation where men of God do not do what they preach, moreso when their private lives does not equally examplify what they preach, especially as it concerns their relationship to the God they claimed that they are serving and humanity divinely entrusted to their care, even though God said judge no man, for every judgement is for Him.

She further pointed out that God gave directive, warning and assignment to his disciples and Apostles to take care of the people, the flocks, the sheep, and to shepherd them.

According to her, “God specifically warned His servants, not to scatter the flocks nor contribute in making them to go astray, but to bring them out from darkness to light. These assignments, God considers as great commission, once a man fulfills his or her assignments with God, Almighty God knows how best to take care of the needs of all those who worships Him in truth and spirit”.

The Evangelist said it point blank that she would like to be remembered, as the woman who never wanted to see the widows and widowers cry, the poorest of the poor and less privileged people lacks, and people living with disabilities insulted, humiliated and discriminated against.
