NASARAWA UNITED PROCEEDS ON TWO-WEEK BREAK TO RECHARGE FOR NPFL, THANKS SULE, AKABE

Nasarawa United has resolved to embark on a two week ostensibly to cool off and recharge ahead of next season’s NPFL campaign.
Media Officer of the club, Eche Amos in a release said training would commence mid July.

Following the successful completion of the 2023/24 Nigeria National League Season and subsequent promotion to the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League, we are pleased to announce to our darling supporters and fans that we are taking a two-week break, effective immediately.
The break will provide our players and officials with a well-deserved rest and opportunity to recharge before we resume our competitive campaign in the elite domestic football league for next season.
With the elite league’s governing body hinting on the commencement of 2024/25 NPFL Season on 31st August, 2024, our break will end on Sunday, 14th July, and we will resume training on Monday, 15th July, 2024.
In view of the foregoing, we wish to specially extend our warmest appreciation and gratitude to His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule, Executive Governor, Nasarawa State, whose unwavering financial and moral supports, fatherly counsel, enthusiasm and belief in us have been the driving force behind the team’s success.
The Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, whose immense supports, inspiring messages, presence and solidarity in sundry ways have been the propellers to the actualization of our set goals.
The State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development headed by Hon. Jafaru Ango, who continue to be our guides and fulcrum, in thick and thin, in ensuring the attainment of the mandate of the Club.
The Board of the Nasarawa State Football Association chaired by Salisu Usman Galadima ‘Basira’ as well as the Nasarawa State Football Referees’ Council headed by Isah Mohammed, for all your technical, psychological supports and guidance.
To our ever present Supporters’ Club led by Jibrin Ali ‘Baggio’, your thunderous cheers, unwavering belief in our potential, and your unconditional support throughout the Season energised us to achieve success.
Indeed, you continue to prove why you are one of the best Supporters’ Club any organisation will ever ask for.
To the Media, we thank you for your relentless and unbiased coverage of our activities and always putting us in positive perspective in the news headlines.
Finally, we thank all our fans around the globe and other critical stakeholders, too numerous to mention, for your support and prayers.
On behalf of the entire Management Members led by Dr. Othman Ahmed Ibrahim, Technical Crew headed by Coach Usman Adams, the Players, and Backroom Staff, we are honoured to have shared this success story with you!
