NFF President Gusau expresses commitment to grassroots football development
Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau, has reiterated his commitment to grassroots football development, emphasizing its crucial role in shaping the future of Nigerian football.
Gusau, who attended the finals of the NFF President Pre-season Football Tournament in Kaduna, congratulated the participating teams and advised them to build on the tournament’s momentum for a successful league season.
He also commended the organizers for their dedication and passion in hosting the tournament. Yobe Desert Stars won the tournament.
The NFF President has further expressed his support for the ongoing Lagos Grassroots Cup, which he believes has been instrumental in engaging Nigerian youths and serving as a breeding ground for future national team players. Gusau presented match balls to the organizers, Wonderland Events, as part of his contribution to the competition.
Gusau’s commitment to grassroots development is evident in his efforts to promote football at the local level. He has assured organizers of the various grassroots competitions that the NFF is ready to partner with relevant stakeholders to take Nigerian football to greater heights.
