Obi of Onitsha, other Igbo leaders proud of Uzodimma

...Describe him as a bridge builder

Key leaders from Igboland, the Obi of Onitsha, HRM Alfred Nnaemeka Achebe (Agbogidi), Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu and the National President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Chief Nnia Nwodo have described Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State as a political  bridge builder.

The trio spoke on Tuesday at the Government House Owerri when the paid a solidarity and working visit to the Governor.
Fielding questions from newsmen after the close door meeting with Governor Uzodimma, Nwodo who was the first to speak said they were proud of the Governor’s activities and the synergy between him and his brother governor’s from the South East and that they have no doubt the Governor will make Imo State and Ndigbo proud.
Nwodo said the reason they visited the Imo State Governor was connected to matters concerning South East, noting that they will also consult with other governor’s from the zone.
On his part, Chief Iwuanyanwu lauded the sterling leadership qualities of the Governor and said Governor Uzodimma has shown to be a great political bridge builder.
Chief Iwuanyanwu said he has been following Governor Uzodimma’s political journey and that he is impressed with his ideas anytime he has the opportunity of being at a meeting where the Governor is in attendance.
The Obi of Onitsha said he will not agree less on what his brothers said concerning Governor Uzodimma, noting that he has known him for years and can vouch for his deep sense of responsibility and love for fellow human beings, community, state and country.
All the leaders were in agreement that Governor Uzodimma will make Imo,  Ndigbo and Nigeria  proud as governor.
In his response to the accolades, Governor Uzodimma said he was honoured and humbled to have such great sons of Igboland visit him and prayed God to accept their prayers concerning his public life.
