NFSC boss Ikpea, Siblings Celebrate Late Parents In Grand Style

…As Ladipo, Aluo, Pillar of Sports, Pro- Wrestling Scribe, others eulogize him

Saturday, 26th, July , 2025 will ever remain evergreen in the memory of Ikpea family members of Edo State, as the National Chairman of Nigeria Football Supporters Club ( NFSC), Rev ( Amb) Samuel Ikpea and his siblings hosted family friends and well wishers to commemorate the death of their parents.

The grand event held at the Nebo Hall of Abalti Barracks, Surulere Lagos was put together to remember their late mother , Mrs. Alice Ikpea who died last year and their father, Mr. Patrick Agbalamisi Ikpea who died 35 years ago

Speaking at the event that blended spiritual solemnity with cultural significance, Rev Ikpea said that they decided to celebrate their late parents in an event marked with reverence, reflection, and thanksgiving, as a tribute to the enduring legacy and values they instilled in them during their life time.

“We decided to remember our late parents today, because if not for their sacrifices and good counseling, we won’t be where we’re today.
” Our father died 35 years ago when we were still very young. And during his life time, he ensured we never lacked anything. And even after his painful and untimely death, our mother took over the challenge of raising us as a widow and as such, they’re worth celebrating.

Ikpea who said that he will ever remember his parents as hardworking , caring, God fearing and disciplinarians, promised that himself with his siblings will continue to sustain the legacy they left behind just as he expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all those who despite their tight scheduled came to celebrate with them.

In their different remarks, President General of Nigeria Football Supporters Club, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo, NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau who was represented by the chairman of Nigeria National League ( NNL), Mr. George Aluo, Pillar of Sports in Nigeria, Chief Donatus Ejidike, Secretary General of Pro- Wrestling Africa, Olusesan Olukoya and Board of Trustee Member of National Association of Nigeria Footballers ( NANF), Harrison Jalla all commended the family for finding it worthy to remember their late parents.

They extolled Rev. Ikpea for his leadership style in Nigeria Football Supporters Club which they said has attracted more friends to him as well as made the club a role model for other clubs , urging him and his siblings to continue to sustain the legacy of the entire Ikpea family both at home and in Diaspora.
Highlights of the celebration were musical performances by the Nigeria Police Band, Supporters Club Band and other side attractions.
