NFSC boss inducted as Distinguished CISM Fellow

Lagos, Nov. 4, 2021: Rev. Samuel Ikpea, the Chairman, Nigeria Football Supporters Club (NFSC), has added to the kitty of his numerous laurels, the Distinguished Fellow of the Certified Institute of Sports Management (CISM).
Dr Segun Atho, Chairman/President of the Governing Council of the institute, said at his decoration which took place at the club’s secretariat at Surulere, that “this award is not for sale to the highest bidder.
“We find the NFSC Chairman, Rev. Samuel Ikpea of this prominent and credible supporters club as a very distinguished personality in the sports circle.
“His immense contributions to sports development in Nigeria has sold him out as a man to be associated with. His is a man of honour and a good sports ambassador.’’
“We are very happy to be associated with you sir. We believe that with you as a fellow, your wealth of experience in the sports arena will impact on our institution and our working relationship with you,’’ Atho said
In his acceptance speech, Ikpea thanked the institute and promised to work and identify with them at all times.
“This is a great honour that demands a positive reciprocation of a cordial and functional relationship from me.
“I promise to be a good fellow of your institute as I will endeavor in my capacity and with my connections to promote your institution and attract memberships and students to you,’’ he assured.
The event was well attended with the executive and members of NFSC and the institute in attendance.
