Eze Ohanwe applauds Uzodimma over plans to tackle insecurities in Imo State

Last Friday Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State reiterated the commitment of his Shared Prosperity and 3 R administration to tackle head long the issues of insecurities in the State by empowering the autonomous communities security vigilantes as well as beefing up the State and Federal Government security agencies.
Uzodimma who said this during a critical security meeting he held with all the traditional rulers, president generals and youth presidents in the 655 autonomous communities in the State at the Amphitheatre Conference Hall of the State Council of Traditional Rulers, Mbari Street Owerri.
The Governor who advised the populace that henceforth they should not obey the Monday or any day sit at home order or directive by those recruited to destroy the socioeconomic activities of the State and South East region in general.
Swiftly, HRH Eze Dr. Oliver Ohanwe, the Obi Gburu Gburu of Igboland and the traditional ruler of Isiama ancient autonomous community in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State accosted by Journalists to ascertain his reactions immediately after the successful meeting, applauded Governor Uzodimma for being patriotic, compassionate and visionary in things concerning the State and Nigeria at large.
Eze Ohanwe who’s the Chairman, Governing Council of Senator Benjamin Uwajimogu College of Education, Isinweke Ihitte Uboma LGA decried on the extent of insecurities in the State and South East region as a whole and advised all on the need to assist Governor Uzodimma in his efforts to address the issues of insecurities in the State.
The reverred traditional ruler also commended the Governor for his compassion in alleviating the sufferings of Imolites as occasioned by the recent removal of fuel subsidy by the Federal Government, through his administration’s plans to provide numerous palliatives as from next few weeks, that includes; immediate effect increase in minimum wage to forty thousand Naira, provision of cheap transport fare buses and taxis for internal and external transportation and flooding the local government area markets with food and agricultural products so as to force down prices of food items and other essential needs.
He pointed out that it was due to his appreciation of the administration’s enormous infrastructural developments and transformations in the State as well as his understanding of the Governor’s selfless commitments to patriotism and good governance that he pioneered the motion for his second term in office during the State Stakeholders meeting held on January 2nd this year at Heroes Square, Owerri.
The Royal Father also informed that one of the greatest achievements of the Shared Prosperity administration is adoption of the Imo State Charter of Equity which he equally moved the motion as a member of the State Elders Council as it would curtail political bickerings and wranglings among the Senatorial zones of the State.
Eze Ohanwe further enjoined the Governor and members of his Government not to relent in their mission and vision of restoring people’s confidence in good and purposeful leadership.
