Nigeria Judo Federation rolls out activities for 2024

The Nigeria Judo Federation (NJF) has listed 20 events for the 2024 sporting calendar.
In a statement obtained by newstap.com.ng, the Federation will begin the year with the first phase of the National Camp from January 20th in Port Harcourt while the second phase of the NJF National Camp comes up in February at Abuja.
The Military and Para Military Judo Championship comes up in Abuja from 12th to 15th February followed by the 2024 African Judo Open in Algiers, Algeria from 16th to 17th February.
In the month of March, Judokas will be attending the Nigeria Police Games in Ibadan, Oyo state while selected athletes will feature in the 13th African Games in Ghana from 8th to 22nd March, 2024.
The country will witness the Ekus Open Judo Championship (Cadet and Junior) in Edo The country will witness the Ekus Open Judo Championship in Edo State by April, and attend the African Judo Championships (Individual and Team) from 25th to 28th April in Cairo, Egypt.
Four tournaments comes up in September and they include; 1st Dr. Musa Oshodi Judo Championship in Ibadan, Oyo State, 2024 African Judo Open in Dakar, Senegal from 16th to 17th September and 2024 African Judo Open in Yaounde, Cameroon from 23rd to 24th September.
The last Championship of the year is the 2024 Katas Judo Championship in Abuja slated for December.
