The former Heartland FC of Owerri sporting director now Apex FC chairman further narrated that the accident which occurred around 7.27pm triggered traffic along the Onitsha/Enugu expressway, forcing motorists and commuters travelling along the axis to halt their journey for almost an hour.
“It was a terrible scene my brother,” Ekwueme began.
He continued: “I am grateful to God for miraculously surviving such an accident with my team doctor (Dr. Emeka Nwosu) and my driver. All I can say is thank you Jehovah, thank you Jesus and to God be the glory.
“We were returning from Lagos after a stop over at Ogwashi-Ukwu, so when  we got to a place called Umunya in Anambra state, a very big cow ran into my car from nowhere. My driver didn’t even know where the cow came from and how it ran into the expressway but God proved that He is God.”
