Nigeria Pro- Wrestling Federation Installs Ambassador Joachin Aforjama as Patron

The Nigeria Pro- Wrestling Federation has formally installed Chief Amb. (Dr.) Joachim Aforjama as its Patron.

The honour recognizes his long standing support for grassroot sports development and his commitment to promoting youth empowerment, community growth and other sports within and beyond Nigeria.

His installation is expected to bolster the federation’s growth and strengthen its outreach initiatives.

Chief Amb. (Dr.) Joachim Aforjama is a respected businessman, and advocate of community development whose influence spans public service, international relations, and philanthropic engagement. Known for his commitment to community -building and youth empowerment, he has supported numerous initiatives aimed at strengthening sports, culture, and social development in Anaocha his community, in Anambra State and in Nigeria as a whole.

His leadership style is defined by integrity, strategic vision, and a strong dedication to fostering positive societal impact.

Aforjama is the CEO of Big C Real Estate, Big C Food Court, Big C Multipurpose Shopping Malls and many other companies scattered at home and abroad.

In his speech during the award of patron presentation President of Nigeria Pro- wrestling Federation , High Chief John Uche was full of thanks to Ambassador Joachin Aforjama for all he has been doing over the years for grassroot sports development at Agulu Community, in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State.

An award of patronship was presented to Ambassador Emenike Joachin as he was also installed as a National Patron of the Nigerian Pro- Wrestling Federation (NPWF).

In his speech, Chief John Uche emphasized that: “today we are here to inform you about our 44th Year Anniversary Celebration coming up in Anambra to host world rated wrestlers from Nigeria and other African nations”.

In acceptance speech, Ambassador Aforjama thanked the management of the Nigerian Pro -Wrestling Federation for considering him worthy for a Patronship title.

He was so excited for this great honour and promised to host the federation to a national championship at the end of the year precisely on the 26th December after his annual Big C Anocha marathon holding on 24th December which he has been promoting for a long time to promote grassroot sports in Anaocha Local Government Area and its environs with participants from Aguluzigbo, Agulu, Neni, Ichida, Adazi-Ani, Adazi-Enu, Adazi-Nnukwu, Akwaeze, Nri and Obeledu, with its headquarters at Neni. Anaocha Local Government Area falls under Anambra South Senatorial District of Anambra state.

Aforjama informed Chief Uche that he wants youths to participate in the end of the year pro- wrestling championship and in his response, President John Uche told him that their participation would not be a problem once they undergo the needed training that will qualify them as professional wrestlers.

Meanwhile, all roads will lead to Agulu in Anaocha Local Government Area of Anambra State come Boxing Day, 26th December 2025 where professional wrestling talents from Nigeria and the African continent would be showcasing their skills and competence on the mats .
