Management and staff of Nilayo Sports Management Limited has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of it’s Media Officer, Dapo Sotuminu.
Sotuminu, an accomplished media practitioner, died in the early hours of Wednesday, 20th, November, 2024 after a brief illness.
In a statement announcing his death and signed by the company’s Managing Director/ Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Yetunde Olopade noted that words fail to capture the devastation of the loss; saying that his absence will be highly missed by the organisation.
“With heavy hearts and total submission to the will of God, we regret to inform the public of the passing of our Media Officer, Mr. Dapo Sotuminu, in the early hours of Wednesday, 20th November 2024.
“Mr. Sotuminu was an accomplished media and communications professional whose excellent work set high standards for teammates to emulate.
Words fail to capture the devastation of this loss.
“We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. Mr. Sotuminu’s legacy will remain a cherished part of Nilayo Sports Management Limited, and he will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of working with him.
“We pray for the fortitude to bear this painful loss”, concludes the statement
